Your City, Your Thoughts.

So we all have a mixed opinion about our beloved city, but I tend to get the general vibe that people aren't appreciating what we have here.

With shopping and getting-by-in-the-city in mind, here's what a few of the residents had to say!

"It's not that I don't like Carlisle itself really, but in terms of shopping, there isn't a lot of variation. A Primark would be good!"

"There are quite a lot of shops in Carlisle but they're all quite small so you have to go to Manchester or Newcastle if you want to do a big shop."

"I hate it! If I want something I usually travel to Newcastle or go online. I don't usually shop in Carlisle and everyone ends up looking the same!"

"I don't like the shopping in Carlisle. I think it's too easy for everybody to end up with the same stuff because the shops don't have a lot of different styles in."
