Summer Is Nearly Here... or was that it?

The continental market also benefitted
from Carlisle's glorious sunshine!
The sun has definitely had it's hat on over Easter here in Carlisle and despite a slight downpour which lasted a couple of days, it's back to beaming down on us all here in the north!

Long may it last!

In spirit of all things warm and wonderful, a spot of shopping was on the cards!

First port of call: Topshop - obviously.

Topshop Leigh Jeans - £38

I bought these beauties on a bit of a whim; not sure if I liked them, definitely not a practical colour (but it's fashion so does that really matter?!) and I really don't need anymore jeans! The picture doesn't really do them justice but they're a very light blue (almost grey/white) colour!

They are a different style (Leigh) and a different shade to what I would normally go for but that's quite a nice quality about them and it means they might actually get worn!

Retailing at £38, they don't break the bank and being such a soft light shade, they're near enough on trend with the pastel shades in the stores right now.

AND...because a girl can never have too many band t-shirts, this was an absolute must.

Miss Selfridge Petite Vest Top
- £24
Miss Selfridge brought this Vaccines vest to me and I totally love it. It set me back £24 but is perfect for the warmer weather and is just something I am very much embracing right now!

The top is described as a 'Miss Selfridge Petites Exclusive' but there's plenty of room in it in my opinion so don't hesitate to try it because it has 'petite' on the label!

To accompany nice top and jeans, there must be nice footwear.

Summery shoes don't get much more amaze than these bad boys, courtesy of River Island!

River Island Espadrilles - £10
Torn between splashing out on a pair of TOMS, I remembered these caught my eye last time I was in store. AND they come for a third of the price!

£10 for a pair of stripy, reasonably comfy espadrilles that will see me through the summer months!

Happy days indeed :)
